The 1N4003 is a standard recovery rectifier diode from Diotec Semiconductor, part of the popular 1N400x series. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 200V and an average forward current (IFAV) of 1A, making it suitable for general purpose 50/60 Hz mains rectification, power supplies, and polarity protection circuits.
The diode offers a forward voltage drop of less than 1.1V at 1A, a reverse recovery time (trr) of approximately 1500ns, and a peak forward surge current capability of 30A (60 Hz). Operating over a junction temperature range of -50°C to +175°C, it is housed in a DO-204AC (DO-41) axial leaded package for through-hole mounting. The device is RoHS compliant with exemption 7a and REACH compliant.
