The 1N4001G-T is a 1.0A glass passivated rectifier diode designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies and other low-frequency applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 50V and an average rectified output current of 1A at 75°C ambient (leads at 9.5mm from case). The forward voltage is typically 1V at 1A, with a typical reverse recovery time of 2µs. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 30A (8.3ms single half sine-wave). Reverse leakage current is 5µA at 25°C and 50µA at 125°C. The diode is housed in a DO-41 (DO-204AL) plastic axial lead package with tin-plated leads and cathode band polarity marking. It is RoHS compliant, lead-free finish, and MSL Level 1 per J-STD-020. Operating and storage temperature range is -65°C to +175°C. Typical applications include AC-to-DC rectification, freewheeling diodes, and snubber circuits.
