The 1N3315A is a 50-watt Zener diode from Microchip Technology, designed for voltage regulation in high-power applications. It offers a nominal Zener voltage of 16V with a tolerance of ±10%, making it suitable for a variety of power supply and clamping circuits.
This diode features a low dynamic impedance of 1.6Ω (Zzt) and a forward voltage of 1.5V at 10A. It has a reverse leakage current of 10µA at 12.2V. The device is housed in a rugged DO-203AB (DO-5) package with a hexagonal stud mount and 1/4-28 threads for secure chassis mounting.
