The 1N1197A is a standard recovery rectifier diode manufactured by Microchip Technology. It is designed for general purpose rectification applications requiring high current handling capability. The diode offers an average rectified current rating of 40 A and a forward voltage of 1.19 V at 90 A. Its standard recovery characteristic ensures reliable operation in 50/60 Hz mains frequency rectification.
