The 1KSMB91A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It offers a standoff voltage of 77.8V and a clamping voltage of 125V at 8A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). With a peak pulse power rating of 1000W (1kW), it provides robust transient suppression for general-purpose applications.
This device features fast response time of less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage minimum, and meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection standards up to 30kV (air and contact).
