The Littelfuse 1KSMB13CA is a bidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 11.1V and a clamping voltage of 18.2V at a peak pulse current of 54.9A, with a peak pulse power dissipation of 1000W for a 10/1000µs waveform.
This device offers a fast response time of less than 1ps and typical reverse leakage current under 1µA. It is suitable for general purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial and consumer electronics.
The 1KSMB13CA is surface mount in a DO-214AA (SMB) package with matte tin lead-free plating. It is RoHS compliant, halogen free, and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020.
