The 1KSMB100A is a 1000W unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse's 1KSMB series. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 85.5V and a clamping voltage of 137V at 7.3A peak pulse current. The device is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events.
The 1KSMB series offers fast response time (typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage), excellent clamping capability, and low incremental surge resistance. It meets IEC-61000-4-2 ESD protection (30kV air and contact) and IEC-61000-4-4 EFT protection. The glass passivated chip junction ensures reliability, and the plastic package is flammability rated V-0.
