The HumiSeal 1A20 is a single-component, durable, and chemically resistant moisture-curing polyurethane coating for printed circuit assemblies. It contains a fluorescent tracer to aid inspection under ultraviolet light.
This coating is qualified to MIL-I-46058C and IPC-CC-830 standards and is UL recognized. It operates continuously from -65°C to +125°C and passes thermal shock tests. The coating exhibits excellent adhesion, flexibility, and solderability.
Application can be by brushing, dipping, or spraying. Recommended coating thickness is 1-3 mils. It has a drying time to handle of 60 minutes and reaches optimum properties in 7 days at room temperature, or can be accelerated with heat.
Key electrical properties include a dielectric breakdown voltage of 8000V and insulation resistance of 300 TΩ. It also offers very good weather resistance and fungus resistance.
