The Phoenix Contact 1940046 is a 16-position plug from the MINI COMBICON FK-MCP 1,5 series. It features a 3.5mm pitch and uses a screwless push-in spring cage connection for fast, tool-free wiring. The plug accepts solid and stranded conductors from 0.14 to 1.5 mm² (28-16 AWG) with a 9 mm stripping length.
Rated at 8 A and 300 V (UL/CUL), the plug is designed for use with MC headers of matching pitch. The insulating material is PA with a V0 flammability rating per UL 94. The contact mating finish is tin.
The plug is free-hanging (in-line) with a 180° wire entry. It features a test connection for a 1.2 mm diameter test pin and can be operated from the front with a screwdriver to open the spring lever.
