The Rosenberger 18K201-301L5 is an SMP Mini right angle jack connector designed for high-frequency applications up to 65 GHz. It features a 50 Ohm impedance and provides excellent return loss performance: ≥20 dB from DC to 4 GHz and ≥15 dB from 4 to 10 GHz. Insertion loss is ≤0.05 dB.
The connector is constructed with a brass body and beryllium copper center and outer contacts, all gold plated (AuroDur). The dielectric is PTFE. It supports a snap-on fastening type and is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting with a right angle orientation. Contact termination is solder for the center pin and crimp for the shield.
Electrical specifications include a maximum operating voltage of 325 V rms at sea level and 125 V rms at 70,000 feet. Insulation resistance is ≥5 GΩ, and contact resistances are ≤6.0 mΩ (center) and ≤2.0 mΩ (outer). The connector is rated for at least 500 mating cycles with a smooth bore mating part and 100 cycles with a full detent part.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to +155°C. The connector weighs approximately 0.5 g. It is RoHS compliant. This connector is suitable for use in RF modules, test equipment, and high-speed digital systems requiring a compact, high-performance interconnect.
