The JST Manufacturing 18FMN-SMT-A-TF is a compact FFC connector from the FMN series, designed for high-density board-to-flex interconnections. It features 18 positions on a 1.00mm pitch with a surface mount right angle orientation and top contact design for easy FFC insertion.
The connector uses a Low Insertion Force (LIF) mechanism and accepts FFC cables with a mating thickness of 0.30mm. Contacts are made from phosphor bronze with a tin finish, housed in a heat-resistant polyamide (PA6T, Nylon 6T) body that meets UL94 V-0 flammability rating.
