The 1812PC334KAT2A is a surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) manufactured by Kyocera AVX. It offers a capacitance of 0.33 µF with a voltage rating of 250 VDC and a tolerance of ±10%. The dielectric is X7R, which provides a capacitance change of ±15% over the operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
This capacitor is designed for telecom tip and ring applications, serving as a standard filter to block -48 VDC telephone line voltage while passing subscriber AC signals. It replaces larger leaded film capacitors and offers improved high frequency performance, low ESR, and better temperature stability.
The component is housed in an 1812 (4532 Metric) package with dimensions of 4.50 mm length, 3.20 mm width, and a maximum thickness of 2.54 mm (note: datasheet specifies 2.00 mm max). Termination is plated nickel and tin, compliant with RoHS3. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging (7" reel). Surface mount mounting enables compact designs.
