The Kyocera AVX 1812PC224MAT3A is a multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) designed for telecom ring detector and tip/ring applications. It blocks -48V DC telephone line voltage while passing subscriber AC ringing signals (16 to 25 Hz, 70 to 90 Vrms).
Featuring X7R dielectric, this capacitor offers a capacitance of 0.22 µF with ±20% tolerance and a rated voltage of 250V DC. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, providing reliable performance in harsh environments.
