The Kyocera AVX 18127C104KAT2A is a surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a capacitance of 0.1 µF, rated voltage of 500V, and tolerance of ±10%. It utilizes X7R dielectric, which provides a capacitance variation within ±15% over the operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. This Class II ceramic capacitor is designed for general purpose applications where moderate changes in capacitance under applied voltage and frequency are acceptable.
The capacitor is housed in a standard 1812 (4532 metric) package with plated nickel and tin terminations, making it suitable for automated surface-mount assembly. Key electrical characteristics include a dissipation factor of ≤12.5% (at 25V DC rating) and insulation resistance of 10,000 MΩ or 500 MΩ-µF (whichever is less). The dielectric strength test is 250% of rated voltage for 1-5 seconds.
This MLCC is ideal for high-voltage decoupling, filtering, and bypass circuits in industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics.
