The Kyocera AVX 1808HC102KAT1A is a high voltage multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) designed for applications requiring up to 3000V DC rating. It offers a capacitance of 1000 pF with X7R temperature coefficient, providing stable performance over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
This capacitor features a plated nickel and tin termination finish, making it RoHS compliant. The 1808 (4520 metric) package is a larger physical size, typical for high voltage MLCCs, and is intended for surface mount assembly. The datasheet recommends reflow soldering for chip sizes 1210 and larger, with preheat and cooling gradients not exceeding 4°C per second.
