The 1808AA561KAT1A is a high-voltage multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) manufactured by Kyocera AVX. It offers a capacitance of 560 pF with a voltage rating of 1000V (1kV) and a tolerance of ±10%. The capacitor utilizes C0G (NP0) dielectric, which provides excellent temperature stability with a temperature coefficient of 0 ppm/°C and an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. This makes it suitable for applications requiring stable capacitance over a wide temperature range.
Designed for high voltage systems, this capacitor is ideal for use in snubbers in high frequency power converters, resonators in SMPS, and high voltage coupling/DC blocking. The 1808 package (4520 metric) is a surface mount form factor with dimensions 4.60mm x 2.00mm and a maximum thickness of 2.20mm. The termination finish is plated Ni and Sn, RoHS compliant.
The capacitor is supplied on 7-inch reels for automated assembly. It is recommended to follow proper reflow soldering profiles, with temperature gradients not exceeding 4°C per second and preheat within 50°C of peak temperature. For larger chip sizes, reflow soldering only is advised.
