The Kyocera AVX 1808AA331KAT1A is a high voltage multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) with a capacitance of 330 pF and a voltage rating of 1000V (1kV). It features a C0G (NP0) temperature coefficient, offering excellent stability over a wide temperature range from -55°C to 125°C. The capacitor has a tolerance of ±10%.
Designed for surface mount assembly, this component comes in an 1808 (4520 Metric) package measuring 4.60mm x 2.00mm with a maximum thickness of 2.20mm. The termination is plated nickel and tin, making it RoHS compliant. As a high voltage MLCC, it is suitable for applications such as snubbers in high frequency power converters, resonators in switch mode power supplies, and high voltage coupling or DC blocking.
Kyocera AVX recommends reflow soldering for chip sizes 1210 and larger, and notes that the temperature gradient during heating or cooling should not exceed 4°C per second. The preheat temperature must be within 50°C of the peak temperature reached by the ceramic bodies during soldering.
The capacitance is 330 pF.
The voltage rating is 1000V (1kV).
The temperature coefficient is C0G (NP0).
The tolerance is ±10%.
The package is 1808 (4520 Metric).
The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
The datasheet indicates RoHS compliant termination (plated Ni and Sn), but the RoHS status is unverified.
