The NorComp 180-062-213R911 is a 62-position high density D-Sub receptacle (female) from the 172 series. It is designed for panel mount with through hole solder termination, using vertical DIP solder leads. The connector features a steel shell with nickel plating and includes board locks and shielding for enhanced mechanical retention and EMI protection.
The insulator is made of glass-filled PA9T thermoplastic with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and can withstand processing temperatures up to 260°C. The contacts are machined brass with gold flash plating over nickel, rated for 3A current. The connector offers a contact resistance of 15 mOhm max and insulation resistance of 1000 MOhm min.
