The NorComp 180-015-213R911 is a 15-position high density D-Sub receptacle featuring female sockets arranged in 3 rows. It offers a panel mount design with through hole vertical DIP solder termination, making it suitable for secure attachment to a PCB or panel. The connector is equipped with brass contacts plated with gold flash over nickel for reliable signal integrity and corrosion resistance.
This connector is rated for 3 A per contact with a contact resistance of 15 mOhm max and insulation resistance of 1000 MOhm min. It can withstand 500 VAC for one minute and operates over a temperature range of -50°C to 100°C. The shell is made of steel with nickel plating and includes board locks and shielding for enhanced EMI protection and mechanical retention.
The insulator is glass-filled thermoplastic rated UL94 V-0, ensuring flame retardancy. The flange features board side (4-40) and mating side female screwlock (4-40) hardware.
