The E-T-A 18 PLUS_SMP_ASSEMBLY serves as a compact mounting and power distribution system for DIN rail applications. It provides a fully-featured 80A power distribution for DC 24V and DC 48V voltage levels, integrating with busbars without requiring additional terminals or connection lines. This system allows for cost-effective realization of protection systems by accepting plug-in circuit breakers. Each connection module within the system can handle a maximum load current of 20A. The design incorporates push-in terminals for easy, tool-free conductor connections, ensuring reliable contact and maintenance-free operation. Signal circuits are pre-wired for group signaling via an integral auxiliary make contact. Line entry for DC 24V/DC 48V supply (LINE+, 0 Volt, and functional earth FE) is facilitated by plug-in type busbars. If no FE potential is supplied, FE terminals can be used as additional 0-Volt distribution.
The 18plus module system is compatible with various E-T-A overcurrent protection devices, including thermal-magnetic circuit breakers (2210-S) and electronic circuit breakers (ESS30, ESX10). The system comprises three basic module types: the supply module (18plus-EM), the connection module (18plus-AM), and the signaling module (18plus-SM). The connection module (18plus-AM) is specifically designed to accommodate single circuit breakers.
Pushers on the terminals are color-coded for easy identification of voltage potentials and functions: Red for supply/load output (LINE+/LOAD+), Blue for return conductor (0 Volt/0 Volt), Orange for functional earth (FE/FE), and Grey for signaling circuits.
