The 178-009-313R571 is a D-Sub - Stacked connector assembly from NorComp Inc. It combines a 9-position plug (male pins) and a 9-position receptacle (female sockets) in a single right-angle, panel-mount package. Each connector uses two rows of signal contacts with gold flash finish for reliable low-level signal connections. The shell is steel with nickel plating, and the flange features mating side female screwlocks (4-40) for secure panel mounting. The connector includes board locks and grounding indents for enhanced mechanical retention and EMI shielding. The insulator material is rated UL94 V-0 for flammability. With a current rating of 5 A per contact, this stacked D-Sub is suitable for space-constrained applications requiring both male and female interfaces in one assembly. Termination is via solder to through-hole PCB pads.
