The 171010550 is a non-isolated point-of-load (PoL) DC-DC converter module from Würth Elektronik's MagI3C power module series. It integrates the switching regulator IC with MOSFETs, controller, compensation, and shielded inductor in a single LGA-6EP package measuring 2.5x2.5x1.2mm.
The module operates from an input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and provides an adjustable output voltage from 0.8V to 5.5V with a maximum output current of 1.2A. It achieves up to 96% efficiency and features a fixed switching frequency of 4 MHz. The constant on-time control method ensures fast transient response.
Protection features include undervoltage lockout (UVLO), cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. The module is designed for surface mount assembly and is RoHS and REACH compliant. It meets EN55032 Class B radiated emissions standards.
