The NorComp 171-025-113R001 is a 25-position D-Sub plug (male pins) from the 171 series, designed for standard density applications. It features a panel mount, through-hole solder termination (DIP solder style) with gold flash plated brass contacts. The steel shell is nickel plated and includes grounding indents for improved EMI performance and additional retention.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 5A, a voltage rating of 500VAC (withstanding voltage for 1 minute), minimum insulation resistance of 1000 MOhms, and maximum contact resistance of 15 mOhms. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
The insulator is made of glass-filled PA6T thermoplastic, rated UL94 V-0, with a maximum process temperature of 260°C. The connector is RoHS3 compliant, REACH unaffected, and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited) – though these compliance statuses are unverified from original documents.
This plug is suitable for a variety of applications including industrial automation, test and measurement, communications, and rugged outdoor sensors. It is available without hardware options (no mounting screws or board locks).
