The Conec 17-10001 is a shielded RJ45 modular plug designed for industrial Ethernet applications requiring reliable performance in harsh environments. It features 8p8c (RJ45) positions and IDC termination for round cable with solid or stranded wires. The connector is rated Cat5e and meets EIA/TIA-568-B.2 specifications.
This plug offers IP67 dust-tight and waterproof protection when mated or covered, making it suitable for outdoor and industrial settings. The circular bayonet coupling mechanism provides a secure connection and conforms to IEC 61076-3-106. Electrical ratings include a current rating of 1.2A max at 25°C, working voltage of 100V, and contact resistance of 20mΩ max.
The housing is available in PBT (Black) or metallized ABS (Nickel plated) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are phosphor bronze with 50u" gold minimum over nickel plating. The plug is cable mount with IDC termination and has a translucent clear color. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
