The Littelfuse 16R1000GMR is a radial leaded polymeric PTC resettable fuse from the 16R series. It is designed for overcurrent protection in electronic circuits, with a hold current of 10 A at 20°C still air. The trip current is 17 A, and the device can withstand a maximum voltage of 16 V and a maximum fault current of 100 A. Typical time to trip is 6 seconds at 50 A. Power dissipation in the tripped state is 3.6 W.
Initial resistance is 4 mΩ, rising to 10.2 mΩ after tripping. The device is through-hole mounted in a radial disc package with a lead spacing of 5.10 mm. Dimensions are 16.50 mm x 3.00 mm x 25.20 mm. Operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
Applications include USB overcurrent protection, computers and peripherals, and general electronics requiring resettable protection. The device is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free as verified by the datasheet.
