The 160MT160KB is a three phase bridge rectifier module from Vishay Dale, part of the MT..KB series. It delivers a maximum DC output current of 160A at a case temperature of 85°C, and 200A at 60°C. The device is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 1.6kV, with a maximum forward voltage drop of 1.49V at 200A peak current.
This module offers robust surge handling with a non-repetitive surge current of 1430A at 50Hz and 1500A at 60Hz, along with corresponding I²t fusing values of 10200 A²s and 9300 A²s. The junction-to-case thermal resistance is 0.12 K/W, and the operating and storage temperature ranges span from -40°C to 150°C.
The MTK package is compatible with the industry standard INT-A-pak power module series, providing a high thermal conductivity, electrically insulated case. It is designed for chassis mounting with screw terminations, making it suitable for general purpose and heavy duty applications such as power supplies, motor drives, and industrial rectification.
The module features a 4000V RMS isolation voltage and is UL approved (E78996). Its compact outline facilitates easy connections to power transistors and IGBT modules, offering an excellent power-to-volume ratio.
