The 15KPA70C is a 15kW bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 15kW (10/1000μs waveform) and a clamping voltage of 119.28V at a peak pulse current of 132.9A. The device features a fast response time of less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage minimum.
This TVS diode is housed in a P600 axial through-hole package, suitable for through-hole mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and has a steady-state power dissipation of 8.0W. The bidirectional polarity allows protection for both positive and negative transients, making it ideal for general-purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
