The 15ETH06-1 is a state-of-the-art hyperfast recovery rectifier designed with optimized performance of forward voltage drop, hyperfast recovery time, and soft recovery. The planar structure and platinum doped life time control guarantee best overall performance, ruggedness, and reliability. These devices are intended for use in PFC boost stage in the AC-DC section of SMPS, inverters, or as freewheeling diodes. The extremely optimized stored charge and low recovery current minimize switching losses and reduce over dissipation in the switching element and snubbers.
Key electrical specifications include a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 600V, an average rectified forward current of 15A at TC=140°C, and a typical forward voltage of 1.8V at 15A and 25°C. The reverse recovery time is typically 22ns under test conditions of IF=1A, dIF/dt=100A/µs, VR=30V. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C and has a thermal resistance junction-to-case of 1.0°C/W typical.
The part is housed in a TO-262-3 (Long Leads, I²Pak, TO-262AA) through-hole package. It is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited). The series inductance is 8nH typical.
