The Hammond Manufacturing 1590WU is a watertight diecast aluminum enclosure designed for rugged applications. It measures 120mm x 120mm x 59mm externally and is made from diecast aluminum alloy with an unpainted natural finish. The enclosure features a lap joint construction that provides protection against dust and splashing water, as well as improved EMI/RFI shielding. It is rated IP65 when properly assembled with the included silicone gasket (supplied loose, not pre-installed). The lid screws should be torqued to 25-30 cN.m for a proper seal. The internal PC board area accommodates boards up to 111.74mm x 111.74mm. The enclosure includes a cover and is shipped in shrink wrap packaging. It is RoHS3 and REACH compliant.
