The Phoenix Contact SACC-M 8MS-3CON-M-SW (order number 1501252) is a 3-position male sensor/actuator connector with an M8 shell size. It features a threaded coupling mechanism for secure mating and a screw termination for field wiring. The connector is rated for 4A at 40°C and 60V (48VAC, 60VDC).
The connector is constructed with a nickel-plated brass shell and knurl, gold-plated copper alloy contacts, and a PBT grip body. It accommodates stranded conductors from 0.14 mm² to 0.5 mm² (26 AWG to 20 AWG) and cables with an outer diameter of 3.5 mm to 5 mm. The IP67 ingress protection rating ensures dust-tight and waterproof operation in harsh environments.
The connector complies with IEC 61076-2-104 for M8 connectors and is rated for pollution degree 3 and surge voltage category II. It operates in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. The materials are rated UL94 HB for flammability. The packaging is a single piece.
