The Honeywell 14CE3-1 is a miniature precision limit switch from the 14CE Series, designed for reliable operation in demanding conditions. It incorporates fluorocarbon diaphragm sealing, meeting IP65, IP66, IP67, and IP68, as well as NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 6, 6P, and 13 requirements. Versions with a boot seal also meet NEMA 12 requirements.
This switch features a rugged, miniature construction suitable for applications with limited space. It has a SPDT circuit, a current rating of 5A at 250V, and an operating force of 1200gf. The actuator type is a roller plunger, with pretravel of 1.8mm and overtravel of 3.0mm. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C.
The 14CE3-1 is well-suited for up to 10 million actuation cycles. It is designed for chassis mounting and uses cable leads for termination. The switch also offers excellent resistance in harsh environments due to encapsulated terminals.
Potential applications include machine tools, off-road equipment, material handling, robotics, and packaging equipment. The switch meets both European and Asian CE requirements, as well as the United Kingdom’s UKCA requirements.
