This is a Statshield Standard Moisture Barrier Bag from Desco Industries. It is a 3.5 mil (0.09mm) thick static shielding bag with inside dimensions of 5 inches by 8 inches. It meets ANSI/ESD S541 and ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements for ESD protective packaging.
Electrical properties include surface resistance (both exterior and interior) of 1x10^4 to <1x10^11 ohms per ANSI/ESD STM11.11, discharge shielding less than 10 nJ per ANSI/ESD STM11.31, and static shielding of 20 volts per EIA 541. Charge generation is -0.09 nC/sq.in. (Teflon) and +0.10 nC/sq.in. (Quartz) per modified incline plane test.
Mechanical properties include puncture strength greater than 20 lbs (MIL-STD-3010, 2065), heat seal strength greater than 11 lb/in (ASTM D1876-93), and seal strength greater than 12 PSI (ASTM D882). The bag has a moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) of ≤0.02 g/100 sq.in./24 hours (ASTM F1249). It is silicone-free and non-corrosive.
The bag features a metal layer inside and is suitable for heat sealing at 300°F–400°F (140°C–204°C) with 0.6–4.5 seconds and 30–70 PSI pressure. Side weld seals are 3/8 in. (±1/8). It is packaged 100 per package in an oversized shielding bag. Made in the USA.
