The Kyocera AVX 1210CA152KAT1A is a high voltage multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) designed for applications requiring stable capacitance and high voltage rating. It features a capacitance of 1500 pF with a voltage rating of 630V DC, and a C0G (NP0) dielectric which offers excellent temperature stability with a temperature coefficient of ±30 ppm/°C. The tolerance is ±10%.
This capacitor is housed in a 1210 (3225 Metric) surface mount package, measuring 3.30mm x 2.50mm with a maximum thickness of 1.45mm. The termination is plated Ni and Sn, RoHS compliant, and it is available in tape and reel packaging (7" reel). The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C.
Typical applications include snubber circuits in high frequency power converters, resonators in switched-mode power supplies, and high voltage coupling/DC blocking. The high voltage design requires careful handling during assembly, with reflow soldering recommended for 1210 and larger sizes. Temperature gradients during soldering should not exceed 4°C per second.
The capacitance is 1500 pF.
The voltage rating is 630V DC.
The temperature coefficient is C0G (NP0), which is stable with ±30 ppm/°C.
The tolerance is ±10%.
