The Kyocera AVX 1210AA821KAT3A is a high-voltage multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) designed for surface mount applications. It offers a capacitance of 820 pF with a tolerance of ±10% and a rated DC voltage of 1 kV. The capacitor utilizes C0G/NP0 dielectric, which provides excellent temperature stability with a capacitance change of ±30 ppm/°C over the operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
This capacitor is housed in an industry-standard 1210 (3225 Metric) package measuring 3.30mm x 2.50mm x 1.80mm (max). The surface mount design enables efficient automated assembly for high-volume production. With a high voltage rating of 1kV, it is suitable for power supply filtering, snubber circuits, and DC-DC converter applications where voltage spikes are present.
