The Littelfuse 1206L150THWR is a surface-mount PolySwitch PTC resettable fuse from the 1206L series. It provides overcurrent protection with a hold current of 1.5 A and a trip current of 3.0 A at 8 V DC maximum voltage. The device can withstand fault currents up to 100 A and has a typical power dissipation of 0.8 W in still air at 20°C.
This polymeric PTC offers fast tripping with a maximum time to trip of 300 ms at 8 A. Initial resistance is as low as 0.040 Ω, rising to a maximum of 0.120 Ω one hour after tripping or reflow soldering. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
