The Littelfuse 1206L050/15YR is a PolySwitch resettable PTC fuse from the 1206L series, designed for overcurrent protection in space-constrained applications. It offers a hold current of 500 mA and a trip current of 1.0 A at 20°C still air, with a maximum voltage rating of 15 V DC. The device can withstand fault currents up to 100 A and dissipates 0.6 W power in the tripped state. Typical time to trip is 100 ms at 8.0 A. Initial resistance is 150 mΩ minimum, with a post-trip maximum of 750 mΩ. The component is surface mountable in a 1206 (3216 Metric) concave package, measuring 3.20 mm x 1.65 mm x 0.75 mm.
