The Kyocera AVX 1206AC102KAT1A is a high voltage multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) designed for applications requiring 1000V rated voltage. It offers a capacitance of 1000pF with X7R temperature coefficient and ±10% tolerance.
This capacitor is housed in a standard 1206 (3216 Metric) surface mount package measuring 3.30mm x 1.60mm with a maximum thickness of 1.80mm. The terminations are plated nickel and tin, making it RoHS compliant. It is supplied on 7-inch reels.
X7R dielectric provides stable capacitance over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, suitable for general purpose and high voltage applications such as snubbers in power converters, resonators in SMPS, and DC blocking. The part is designed for surface mount assembly with reflow soldering recommended for larger chip sizes.
