This E-T-A 1170-22-15A is a single-pole thermal circuit breaker with a 15A current rating and a 48VDC voltage rating. It incorporates a push-to-reset, tease-free, trip-free snap-action mechanism with a manual release.
Designed for automotive and marine applications, it is suitable for extra-low voltage wiring systems. The breaker features blade terminals for plug-in mounting, compatible with automotive fuse blocks conforming to DIN 72581, part 3. It offers a degree of protection of IP40 for the operating area and IP00 for the terminal area.
Environmental testing includes resistance to vibration (10 g), shock (50 g), corrosion (96 hours salt mist), and humidity (240 hours at 95% RH). The operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C.
