The Keystone Electronics 112 is a surface mount battery contact spring (leaf) designed for coin cell battery applications. This component accepts multiple coin cell sizes and provides a reliable electrical contact for one cell.
The contact is made from phosphor bronze with a tin-nickel or matte tin plate finish, offering good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulator is constructed from high-temperature Nylon 46 rated UL 94V-0, providing electrical isolation and preventing short circuits.
This SMD (SMT) tab style part mounts directly to a PCB surface, with a height above board of only 0.041 inches (1.05mm), making it suitable for low-profile designs. The contact spring (leaf) style allows for secure battery retention and easy replacement through battery release ports.
