The Preci-Dip 110-87-328-41-001101 is a 28-position (2 x 14) DIP IC socket designed for through-hole mounting. It features a standard 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and 0.3" (7.62mm) row spacing, making it compatible with common dual-in-line packages.
Constructed with a glass-filled PCT (polycyclohexylenedimethylene terephthalate) polyester housing, the socket offers good mechanical strength and thermal stability. The contacts are made from beryllium copper with a tin flash finish, providing reliable electrical connection and corrosion resistance.
The open frame design allows for easy inspection of solder joints and airflow during operation. The socket operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 125°C, suitable for industrial and automotive environments.
