The Vishay 10ETS08S is a standard recovery rectifier diode from the 10ETS..S High Voltage Series, designed for input rectification applications. It features a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 800V and an average forward current rating of 10A at a case temperature of 105°C. The diode offers a low forward voltage drop of 1.1V at 10A and a high non-repetitive surge current capability of 200A.
This device utilizes glass passivation technology for reliable operation up to a junction temperature of 150°C. It is optimized for very low forward voltage drop with moderate leakage, making it suitable for industrial-level applications. The 10ETS08S is designed to be used with Vishay HPP switches and output rectifiers available in identical package outlines.
The diode is supplied in a surface mount D2PAK (TO-263AB) package with a gull wing lead style. It has a maximum thermal resistance from junction to case of 2.5°C/W and a typical junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 62°C/W when mounted on a standard PCB.
