The 10ETF02S is a fast soft recovery rectifier diode from Vishay High Power Products, part of the 10ETF..S Soft Recovery Series. It is designed for output rectification and freewheeling in inverters, choppers, and converters, as well as input rectification where severe restrictions on conducted EMI must be met.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 200V, a maximum average forward current (IF(AV)) of 10A under sinusoidal waveform at TC=128°C, and a low forward voltage drop (VF) of 1.2V maximum at 10A and 25°C. The device features a fast reverse recovery time (trr) of 50ns typical at 1A and 100A/µs, and 145ns typical at 10A and 25A/µs. It can handle a non-repetitive peak surge current (IFSM) of 150A and has an I²t rating of 112.5 A²s.
The diode is housed in a surface mount TO-263-3, D²Pak (2 Leads + Tab), TO-263AB package (supplier device package TO-263AB D²PAK). It operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and has a maximum thermal resistance junction-to-case of 1.5°C/W. Glass passivation ensures stable, reliable operation under severe temperature and power cycling conditions.
