The 104M06QC100 is a Type QRL Quencharc RC snubber network from Cornell Dubilier Electronics, designed for transient suppression and arc reduction in switching circuits. This single-channel, first-order low-pass filter integrates a 100Ω ±10% carbon composition resistor in series with a 0.1µF ±20% metallized polyester capacitor.
Rated for 600Vdc and 250Vac operation over a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, the network withstands 960Vdc dielectric test voltage. It passes a DC life test of 125% rated voltage for 500 hours at 85°C with capacitance change ≤5% and dissipation factor within original limits. Long-term storage stability shows capacitance change ≤2% over two years at ambient conditions.
The part is housed in a flame-retardant epoxy-coated radial package measuring 27.4mm x 9.9mm x 16.7mm with 20.8mm lead spacing. Lead diameters are 0.025in (capacitor side) and 0.032in (resistor side). The QRL variant carries UL and CSA certifications and is halogen-free for date codes 1807 and later.
