The 10240-55G3PC is a 40-position receptacle connector from 3M's Mini D Ribbon (MDR) 102 Series. It features a right-angle, through-hole solder termination with panel mount capability. The connector is shielded for EMI protection and includes board locks for secure PCB retention.
Electrical characteristics include a current rating of 1 A per contact, insulation resistance greater than 5 × 10⁸ Ω at 500 VDC, and withstanding voltage of 500 VRMS for 1 minute. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C. Contacts are made of copper alloy with gold plating (30 µ" min gold over nickel) for reliable connectivity.
The insulator is glass reinforced polyester (PCT) with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The shroud and latch hook are steel, and the ground lock is copper alloy. This connector is designed for MDR digital LCD interface applications and is RoHS3 compliant.
