The 3M 10226-2210PE is a 26-position Mini D Ribbon (MDR) receptacle connector from the 102 Series. It features outer shroud contacts with a wiper-on-wiper contact design for reliable repetitive plugging. The connector is shielded for EMI protection and includes a board guide for easy alignment during assembly.
This surface mount connector uses solder termination and is rated for 1A current per contact. It has a pitch of 1.27mm (0.050 inches) and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. The insulation material is glass reinforced polyester (PCT) with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The body is zinc alloy with nickel plating, and the shroud is steel with nickel plating. Contacts are copper alloy with gold plating (30µin) on the wiping area.
The connector is designed for IEEE 1284C interface applications (as a 36-contact version) but this 26-position variant is suitable for various parallel interface and CameraLink cable assembly applications.
