The 3M 10226-1A10VE is a 26-position right angle surface mount receptacle from the 102 Series Mini D Ribbon (MDR) connector family. It features a shielded design with outer shroud contacts and a board guide for reliable mating. The connector has a 0.050 inch pitch and is terminated by solder, with a housing/shell flange (M2.6) for secure mounting.
Electrical specifications include a current rating of 1 A per contact, insulation resistance greater than 5×10⁸ Ω at 500 VDC, and withstanding voltage of 500 Vrms for 1 minute. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C, making it suitable for a variety of environments.
Mechanical construction uses a glass reinforced polyester (PCT) insulator with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are copper alloy (C521) with a gold wiping area (30 µin min) over nickel underplating (80 µin). The shroud is steel with nickel plating, and screw locks are copper alloy with tin plating. This part is non-RoHS compliant due to tin-lead solder tails.
Designed for high data rate transmission, the MDR connector offers low signal skew and a wiper-on-wiper contact system for repetitive plugging. Typical applications include digital LCD interfaces and industrial equipment.
