The Advanced Energy A Series 1/8A12-N4-M-E is a miniature, PCB-mount, high voltage, regulated DC-DC converter. Designed with state-of-the-art power-conversion topology, it utilizes surface-mount technology and encapsulation for high reliability and performance.

This enclosed converter offers an output voltage range of 0 to 125 VDC with a maximum output current of 32 mA, providing 4W of power. It operates with a nominal input voltage of 24 VDC and has a wide input voltage range of 11-16 VDC for full power and 9-32 VDC for derated power. Key electrical specifications include low ripple (0.015% V p-p), excellent line and static load regulation (<0.01%), and dynamic load regulation (<0.12 V pk).

The unit is designed for chassis mounting and has dimensions of 120.7mm x 50.8mm x 25.4mm. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 65°C. The converter includes features such as indefinite output short-circuit protection and an output current monitor.
