The PANJIT 1.5SMCJ13CA_R1_00001 is a surface mount bidirectional transient voltage suppressor from the 1.5SMCJ5.0A~1.5SMCJ220CA series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage (VRWM) of 13 V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 14.4 V and maximum of 15.9 V at 1 mA test current. The device can clamp a transient to 21.5 V while handling a peak pulse current of 69.7 A (10/1000 µs waveform). Peak pulse power dissipation is 1500 W. The part also provides ESD protection up to +30 kV (air and contact) per IEC-61000-4-2.
