The 1.5SMC7.5A-E3/57T is a surface mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Vishay General Semiconductor, part of the 1.5SMC series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lightning. This device is unidirectional with a single Zener channel.
Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 6.4V, a maximum clamping voltage of 11.3V, and a peak pulse current rating of 133A. The peak pulse power dissipation is 1500W for a 10/1000μs waveform. The device does not provide power line protection.
