The 1.5SMC68A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Bourns designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 58.1V and a maximum clamping voltage of 92V at 16.5A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). With a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W, this device is suitable for general-purpose transient voltage suppression in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications.
